Must-have home features: modern architecture with rustic wood accents, huge windows for tons of natural light, bold colored cabinets/accent walls, and statement piece light fixtures.
Megan, born in Greenville, NC, was blessed to grow up in a military family and live all over the U.S. prior to returning to her hometown to attend college at East Carolina University.
She’s lived in a total of 26 places since she was born, which sparked her love of traveling, exploring new cities, and making her the ultimate guru when it comes to inquiring about all of the nuances that are important factors for selecting the right home/community/area. In fact, the desire to experience new places just resulted in her own family’s decision to move in 2023 from the town of Clayton, to Rolesville where her family now calls the Heritage community in Wake county home.
After a 20 year career as a speech-language pathologist in the senior living industry, Megan switched gears in 2021, diving headfirst into the world of real estate. Being married to a lender sparked her interest in helping people find homes to achieve their goals of home ownership. The transition from healthcare to real estate still yields the same feeling of being in a “helping people profession” as the joy of handing over keys to the first time homebuyer who just accomplished a huge milestone is priceless!
Megan's secret sauce? A caring nature, devoted to being a problem solver, responsive with communication, and an eagle-eye for details and asking all the right questions to advocate for her clients’ best interest. She's on a mission to be your trusted advisor, guiding you through the real estate process and going that extra mile to make a lasting impression and to create lifelong relationships where clients become like “family!”
She finds immense joy in helping all clients throughout various stages of life, especially during pivotal moments that necessitate a move due to lifestyle changes - first time home buyers, upsizing for growing families, helping empty nesters downsize, and even when there are health-related issues impacting safety where a higher level of care is required.
Outside of the real estate hustle, you'll find me exploring nature through hiking, hanging with my dogs, riding bikes, doing pilates, hitting up local breweries, catching live music, frequenting boutiques for retail therapy, and of course, rooting for my Duke Blue Devils on the basketball court!
There’s a HUGE Duke/UNC rivalry in this household, which makes basketball season with her husband very fierce ... and even landed them a local TV news interview when Duke & UNC played in their first final four game! As a proud mom of two boys, you can also find me cheering on my kids in their sporting events and chess competitions.
